Credit Controller - Ledger Manager
About the Role
CWC Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Credit Controller - Ledger Manager to join our team. As a Credit Controller - Ledger Manager, you will be responsible for managing a ledger of 1000 accounts worth approximately £2 million a month.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a ledger of 1000 accounts, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
- Conduct credit checks and set credit limits for new and existing customers.
- Chase outstanding debts through various channels, including telephone, email, and letter.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve invoice queries and discrepancies.
- Provide regular commentary on account performance for monthly aged debt reporting.
- Investigate and resolve complex invoice queries, ensuring accurate and timely resolution.
- Work closely with the finance team to achieve cash collection targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in credit control or a related field, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
