Credit Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Controller to join our team at Ink, a leading travel media company. As a Credit Controller, you will play a critical role in reducing debt, handling customer queries, and supporting the credit control team.
Key Responsibilities- Chase customers for payment and resolve any queries or issues
- Work to challenging call and cash targets to ensure timely payment
- Keep the credit control system up to date with accurate and clear notes
- Handle customer inquiries regarding payments and invoices
- Identify and escalate potential bad debts to management
- Assist with month-end procedures and provide cover on the compliance and admin side of the department when required
- Credit check clients and verify contracts, including payment terms and contact details
- Set up vendor forms and vendor portal
- Assist with approval and raising of invoices
- Participate in regular discussions about processes, strategy, and improvements
- Download bank statements and allocate cash
- Experience in B2B credit control, including reducing DSO and ledger balances
- Intermediate Excel and Word skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivots
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Ability to work as part of a hardworking team
- Experience with Salesforce is an advantage
- Fluency in a second language is advantageous but not essential
