Greenwood Municipal Federal Credit Union is seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join our Finance Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Establish strong working relationships with all Matter Supervisors and Billing Executives to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Hold regular monthly review meetings to maintain focus on timely billing and debt collection, ensuring the credit control system is operating efficiently.
  • Operate the Firm's credit control system, phone, and chase clients to send bill reminders and ensure timely payments.
  • Advise fee earners on progress in chasing outstanding debts, providing regular updates and insights.
  • Distribute a summary of overdue debts to the Revenue Control Manager, ensuring timely action is taken.
  • Responsible for dealing efficiently and effectively with queries as they arise, providing excellent customer service.

The ideal Credit Controller will have:

  • Experience working in a financial institution or credit union is essential.
  • Good communication skills with high levels of interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • A good telephone manner when talking to clients, both internally and externally, ensuring a professional and courteous approach.
  • Organized and accurate with good attention to detail, able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
