We are seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join our team at Compenij, a leading manufacturing business. As a Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing our ledger, chasing overdue accounts, and establishing relationships with customers to ensure timely and effective debt collection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a ledger of circa £1.5m per month
- Chase all overdue accounts for a ledger of approximately 500 accounts
- Establish relationships internally and externally to ensure timely and effective debt collection
- Provide excellent customer service
- Respond to copy requests
- Set up/update account contacts generated from new and existing accounts
- Check customer credit ratings
- Apply credit terms to accounts via Defacto (ERP)
- Update Customer Invoice Portal Platforms - Upload invoices
- Assist Manager where required depending on workflow
Requirements:
- Experience in credit controller to hit the ground running
- Solid finance background
- Ideally used EDI (portals) for invoice processing
- Proficient in relevant Microsoft tools especially Outlook and Excel
- GCSE pass in Math and English language
- AAT or equivalent working experience
- Knowledge of filing systems
