About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Facilities Operations Coordinator to join our team at The King's Foundation. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our estate, comprising of various buildings and premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Management: Assist with the upkeep and maintenance of our estate, including the coordination of preventative maintenance and repair works.
  • Contractor Management: Supervise contractors on-site and ensure that works are carried out to a high standard.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Manage the cleaning contractors and oversee routine maintenance tasks, ensuring completion within budget and deadlines.
  • Compliance and Safety: Work with other departments to ensure compliance with statutory legislation and best practice, providing technical and practical support to building users.
  • Administration: Provide basic administration support, including raising purchase orders, processing invoices, and maintaining records.
Person Specification
  • Essential Skills: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize work under pressure, and problem-solve where required.
  • Team Player: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a friendly, flexible, and helpful attitude.
  • Facilities Experience: Understanding of facilities and maintenance functions, with a willingness to learn and adapt to our specific requirements.
Desirable Skills
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a similar role as part of a facilities team, with a working knowledge of hard services (e.g. heating systems, HVAC, fire alarm systems).
What We Offer
  • Reporting Line: The post holder will report directly into the Executive Director, Highgrove & Partnerships.
  • Working Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Location: The King's Foundation estate.
