About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Programme Development Officer to join our team at The Wildlife Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing large-scale nature restoration programmes across Wales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement nature restoration programmes in collaboration with Wildlife Trust staff and partners
  • Work with stakeholders to identify and secure funding opportunities for nature restoration projects
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform programme development and implementation
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement programme strategies
  • Provide technical expertise and support to Wildlife Trust staff and partners
Requirements
  • Proven experience in programme development and implementation, particularly in the field of nature conservation
  • Strong understanding of issues facing nature and the importance of large-scale restoration efforts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and partnership-building
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions
