About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Programme Development Officer to join our team at The Wildlife Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing large-scale nature restoration programmes across Wales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement nature restoration programmes in collaboration with Wildlife Trust staff and partners.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify and secure funding opportunities for nature restoration projects.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform programme development and implementation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective programme delivery and impact.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, funders, and community groups.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in programme development and implementation, particularly in the field of nature conservation.
  • Strong understanding of issues facing nature and the importance of large-scale restoration efforts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and inform programme decisions.
