We are thrilled to present an opportunity for a Renewable Heating Specialist to become part of our dynamic field team. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the installation of Air Source Heating systems in residential settings. By adhering to high standards of quality, safety protocols, and exceptional craftsmanship, you will ensure that installations meet all industry and regulatory requirements.
  • Acting as a leading expert in heating installations, you will provide and showcase technical proficiency in the installation of Good Energy Works products, particularly air source heat pumps.
  • Working closely with electrical engineers, you will guarantee that heating systems are installed safely, punctually, and with superior workmanship.
  • Upholding high standards of safety, health, and environmental practices to ensure the well-being of yourself, customers, and colleagues.
  • Continuously enhancing your technical skills and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards to prioritize health, safety, and compliance.
  • Innovating to establish best practices and sharing insights proactively within the team.
  • Demonstrating ongoing improvements in safety, efficiency, and quality.
  • Effectively managing relationships with stakeholders and collaborating with other teams to provide an exceptional customer experience.
  • Exhibiting flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
  • Being a proactive problem solver with a positive attitude and a strong commitment to doing what is best for both customers and the organization.
Qualifications for SuccessEssential Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in plumbing, heating, or engineering.
  • Certification in unvented hot water systems.
  • Core Domestic Gas Safety (CCN1) certification.
  • Experience in implementing policies, processes, and procedures that foster empowerment and accountability.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • A valid full UK driving license.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with oil heating systems.
  • Knowledge of LPG systems.
  • Familiarity with renewable energy technologies.
  • Understanding of water regulations.
  • Expertise in energy efficiency practices.
  • Experience with MCS Regulations.
  • Certification in domestic heat pump installation and maintenance at Level 3.
