We are thrilled to present an opportunity for a Renewable Heating Specialist to become part of our growing field team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in assisting our clients to heat their homes more sustainably through the installation of Midea air source heat pumps.

During installations, you will collaborate closely with an Electrician and a Trainee Heating Engineer, offering guidance and mentorship to help develop their skills and expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a leading expert in heating installations, showcasing and delivering high-quality technical skills for Midea heat pump installations.
  • Work in close partnership with electrical engineers to ensure that heating systems are installed safely, punctually, and to the highest standards.
  • Uphold stringent health, safety, and environmental standards to protect yourself, our clients, and your colleagues.
  • Continuously enhance your technical knowledge and maintain a strong focus on health, safety, and compliance.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to improving safety, efficiency, and quality in all aspects of your work.
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders effectively and collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless customer service.
  • Be adaptable and open to changes in a dynamic and evolving business environment.
  • Exhibit a proactive problem-solving approach, ensuring the best outcomes for both clients and the organization.
Qualifications for SuccessWe seek a motivated and skilled Renewable Heating Specialist to join our team of like-minded professionals. You should have substantial experience with heating systems; while direct experience with heat pumps is not mandatory, a strong desire to learn and grow in this area is essential.

You will be an effective communicator, comfortable engaging with clients and explaining the functionality of heating systems while addressing any inquiries they may have. As a seasoned installer and problem solver, you will confidently navigate challenges to provide a safe and exceptional service.

Essential Qualifications:
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in plumbing, heating, or engineering
  • Experience with unvented hot water systems
  • Core Domestic Gas Safety (CCN1) certification
  • Comprehensive health and safety knowledge
  • A valid full UK driving license
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience with oil systems
  • Knowledge of LPG systems
  • Familiarity with renewable technologies
  • Understanding of water regulations
  • Knowledge of energy efficiency practices
  • Experience with MCS Regulations
  • Domestic heat pump installation and maintenance certification (Level 3)
