We are thrilled to announce an opportunity for a Renewable Heating Specialist to become part of our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in assisting our clients to heat their homes sustainably through the installation of Midea air source heat pumps.

During installations, you will collaborate closely with an Electrician and a Trainee Heating Engineer, offering guidance and support to help develop their skills and expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a leading expert in heating installations, showcasing your technical skills to install Midea heat pumps effectively.
  • Work in tandem with electrical engineers to guarantee that heating systems are installed safely, punctually, and to the highest standards.
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental practices to ensure the safety of yourself, customers, and colleagues.
  • Commit to continuous personal and professional development, keeping your technical knowledge and industry standards up to date.
  • Strive for improvements in safety, efficiency, and quality in all aspects of your work.
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders and collaborate with various teams to ensure exceptional customer service.

  • Utilize your problem-solving skills and proactive attitude to address challenges effectively, prioritizing the needs of both the customer and the organization.
Qualifications for SuccessWe seek a motivated and skilled Renewable Heating Specialist to join our team of dedicated installers. You should have substantial experience with heating systems; while direct experience with heat pumps is not mandatory, a strong desire to learn and grow in this area is essential.

Excellent communication skills are crucial, as you will need to explain heating systems to customers and address any questions they may have. As a seasoned installer and problem solver, you should feel confident in resolving issues and delivering a safe, high-quality service.

Essential Qualifications:
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in plumbing, heating, or engineering.
  • Experience with unvented hot water systems.
  • Core Domestic Gas Safety (CCN1) certification.
  • Comprehensive health and safety knowledge.
  • A valid full UK driving license.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Experience with oil heating systems.
  • Knowledge of LPG systems.
  • Familiarity with renewable energy technologies.
  • Understanding of water regulations.
  • Knowledge of energy efficiency practices.
  • Experience with MCS Regulations.
  • Domestic heat pump installation and maintenance certification.
