At Good Energy, our installation teams are dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our customers, ensuring that every installation is performed with outstanding craftsmanship and compliance with safety standards. Our mission is to support our clients in transforming their heating solutions to be more environmentally friendly.
During installation projects, you will collaborate closely with an Electrician and a Trainee Heating Engineer, providing mentorship and guidance to help develop their skills and expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a leading expert in heating installations, showcasing your technical skills to effectively install our air source heat pumps.
- Work in tandem with electrical engineers to guarantee that heating systems are installed safely, punctually, and to the highest quality standards.
- Uphold high safety, health, and environmental standards to ensure the safety of yourself, our clients, and your colleagues.
- Commit to continuous personal and professional development, keeping your technical knowledge and industry standards at the forefront of your priorities.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to improving safety, efficiency, and quality in all aspects of your work.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders effectively and collaborate with various teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Be adaptable and open to changes in a fast-paced, evolving work environment.
- Utilize your problem-solving skills and positive attitude to find the best solutions for both clients and the organization.
You will possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to confidently engage with clients and clarify how their heating systems operate, as well as address any questions they may have. As a seasoned installer and problem solver, you will be adept at resolving issues for our clients while ensuring a safe and high-quality service.
Essential Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in plumbing, heating, or engineering
- Experience with unvented hot water systems
- Core Domestic Gas Safety (CCN1) certification
- Comprehensive health and safety knowledge
- A valid full UK driving license
- Experience with oil systems
- Knowledge of LPG systems
- Familiarity with renewable technologies
- Understanding of water regulations
- Expertise in energy efficiency
- Familiarity with MCS Regulations
- Level 3 certification in domestic heat pump installation and maintenance
