We are seeking a skilled Calibration and Equipment Maintenance Specialist to become a vital part of a prominent manufacturing organization.
In this role, you will be tasked with ensuring the peak functionality of a variety of instruments and apparatus used for measuring heat, light, voltage, amperage, weight, vacuum, magnetic resistance, and more.
Access to personal transportation is recommended for ease of commute to the facility.
Flexibility to work outside standard hours and participate in on-call rotations will be expected as part of the role.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your responsibilities as the Calibration and Equipment Maintenance Specialist will include, but are not limited to:
- Maintaining and optimizing Calibration and Maintenance Standards.
- Contributing to the creation of comprehensive documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), user manuals, and Calibration Schedules.
- Acting as the technical authority within the maintenance team for any process control challenges arising from PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems.
- Collaborating with external vendors to troubleshoot technical issues and support regulatory or customer audits as the site’s technical expert.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To excel in this exciting position as the Calibration and Equipment Maintenance Specialist, we are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- A relevant degree in a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environment.
- Practical knowledge and experience with PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems.
