We are a leading wholesale distributor in the UK, specializing in providing ambient grocery products to the convenience and independent retail sector.

Our range includes soft drinks, confectionery, snack, household cleaning, and alcohol products, sourced from leading manufacturers and brands, as well as our own proprietary lines.

We have a strong buying team that sources products from various suppliers, enabling us to offer exceptional value to our customers.

The Role

This position involves managing and developing a portfolio of accounts across a designated area, working with a diverse range of retail customers, including convenience stores, symbol retailers, ethnic specialists, and discount retailers.

You will work closely with existing customers to introduce new and existing product lines, and with new customers to locate potential clients that meet our customer model and introduce our services.

Our advanced handheld ordering and stock system enables you to discuss real-time product pricing and availability with customers during meetings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of accounts across a designated area
  • Work closely with existing customers to introduce new and existing product lines
  • Locate potential new customers that meet our customer model and introduce our services
  • Utilize our handheld ordering and stock system to discuss product pricing and availability with customers

Requirements

  • Experience in sales into the convenience/independent retail channel
  • Experience working for a retail wholesaler is highly desirable
  • Multi-lingual skills are a plus
  • Field marketing experience in a commercial retail-focused sales role is also welcome
