Position Overview

The primary objective of this position is to support the SEO Site Manager in the daily oversight and enhancement of the SEO channel. Collaborating closely with the broader digital marketing team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our organic visibility for Frasers Group's sports-related online platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance SEO channel effectiveness and search rankings.
  • Propose modifications to website structure, content, internal linking, and other elements to boost SEO rankings for targeted keywords.
  • Collaborate with content creators to integrate SEO best practices into the development of category pages, landing pages, FAQ sections, and buying guides.
  • Utilize tools such as Botify and ScreamingFrog to identify potential issues that may adversely affect search engine results. Conduct comprehensive technical SEO assessments of websites and address any identified problems.
  • Leverage platforms like PI-datametrics and SEMRush to gather insights and pinpoint opportunities for performance enhancement.
  • Assist in formulating link-building strategies and conduct audits of backlink profiles.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in an SEO-centric role, whether in-house or within an agency.
  • Proficiency in keyword research, daily optimization, and thorough analytical assessments.
  • Capability to confidently present key performance indicators to management.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and respond effectively to urgent requests.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for SEO and digital marketing.
  • Experience in content marketing and social media initiatives.
