Job Overview

The SEO Operations Lead is tasked with formulating and implementing the search engine optimization strategy for their designated brand. This role is pivotal in enhancing the overall performance of the site by driving organic traffic and revenue through effective management of website architecture, content oversight, and SEO methodologies.

The ideal candidate will adopt a data-centric approach, focusing on performance metrics to prioritize and optimize projects in alignment with key performance indicators (KPIs).

Key Responsibilities
  • SEO Performance Management: Take ownership of SEO outcomes, driving and refining performance metrics.
  • Strategic Development: Collaborate with the SEO Manager to create a comprehensive SEO roadmap tailored to the site.
  • Keyword Research: Conduct thorough keyword analysis and address technical site issues to support the SEO strategy.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee the SEO team, including conducting performance reviews, one-on-one meetings, and participating in recruitment and performance management processes.
  • KPI Monitoring: Track and enhance the site's KPIs and revenue objectives.
  • Opportunity Analysis: Identify and analyze potential growth opportunities within the SEO channel.
  • Link Building Campaigns: Partner with the SEO Manager to execute effective link-building initiatives.
  • Industry Best Practices: Stay informed about industry trends and contribute to the evolution of best practices.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Disseminate insights, successful initiatives, and best practices across the team.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in an SEO-focused role with the ability to lead and motivate team members.
  • Strong emphasis on the technical dimensions of SEO.
  • Familiarity with various link-building strategies.
  • Experience managing SEO for a revenue-generating site.
  • Proficient in keyword strategy, daily optimization, and comprehensive analysis.
  • Skilled in creating and presenting reports on campaign performance, including ROI and conversion metrics.
  • Solid understanding of web usability and design principles, with a quantitative approach to traffic analysis.
  • Research capabilities to identify and prioritize essential keyword sets.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for SEO and digital marketing.
  • Experience in content marketing and social media campaigns.
