Role Overview

The primary objective of this position is to support the SEO Site Manager in the daily oversight and enhancement of the SEO channel. Collaborating closely with the broader digital marketing team, you will be tasked with enhancing and optimizing our organic performance across Frasers Group's sports websites.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategies to enhance SEO channel performance and search rankings. Propose modifications to website structure, content, internal linking, and other elements to boost SEO rankings for targeted keywords. Collaborate with content creators to integrate SEO into content development, optimizing text on category and landing pages, as well as producing FAQ sections and buying guides. Utilize tools such as Botify and ScreamingFrog to identify issues that may adversely affect SERP. Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits of websites and resolve any identified issues. Leverage tools like PI-datametrics and SEMRush for insights and to identify opportunities for performance enhancement. Assist in developing link-building strategies and conduct backlink audits.

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience in an SEO-focused role, whether in-house or at an agency. Proficiency in keyword research and strategy, daily optimization, and detailed analysis. Capability to confidently present key performance metrics to management. Ability to meet tight deadlines and respond to urgent requests. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. A genuine enthusiasm for SEO and digital marketing. Experience in content marketing and social media campaigns. A commitment to continuously improving the quality of service provided. A proactive approach to suggesting new methodologies and strategies.
