Job Summary

The SEO Site Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the SEO strategy for their allocated site/brand. This includes leading the team to manage the website, increasing organic traffic and revenue through information architecture improvements, content management, and SEO techniques.

Key Responsibilities

  • SEO Performance - Own, drive, and optimize performance.
  • Delivering the SEO Strategy - Work with the SEO Manager to develop the site's SEO roadmap and strategy.
  • Keyword Research and Site Technical Issues - Carry out keyword research and manage site technical issues to support the SEO roadmap.
  • Team Management - Line management of the SEO Team, including probationary reviews, 1:1s, ER and hiring involvement, performance management, engagement with Frasers Group annual performance cycles.
  • Reporting and KPIs - Monitor and improve the site's KPIs and revenue targets.
  • Insight and Opportunity Analysis - Highlight opportunities and developments across the channel.
  • PR Campaigns - Work with the SEO Manager to deliver SEO link building campaigns.
  • Best Practice - Stay abreast of and contribute to wider industry developments.
  • Share Initiatives and Best Practices - Share initiatives, best practices, and results.

Requirements

  • Hands-on Experience in SEO - Hands-on experience in an SEO-focused role, ability to lead and engage with direct reports.
  • Strong Focus on Technical Aspects of SEO - Strong focus on the technical aspects of SEO.
  • Working Knowledge of Link Building - Working knowledge of link building using various techniques.
  • Experience Owning SEO Responsibilities - Experience owning SEO responsibilities at a site that derives its revenue through consumer traffic.
  • Keyword Research and Strategy - Experience with keyword research and strategy, daily optimization, test plan construction, and in-depth analysis.
  • Creating and Presenting Campaign Reports - Experienced in creating and presenting campaign reports, including ROI and conversion rates.
  • Web Usability and Site Design - Strong understanding of web usability and site design, a quantitative approach to traffic measurement, and experience with collecting and interpreting site visitor statistics.
  • Research Skills - Research skills to identify, build, and prioritize essential keyword sets.
  • Problem Solving and Analytical Skills - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Self-Management and Project Tracking - Ability to self-manage and keep track of multiple projects.
  • Genuine Passion for SEO and Online Marketing - Genuine passion for SEO and online marketing.
  • Content Marketing and Social Campaigns - Experience with content marketing and social campaigns.
