Howden - Corporate & Commercial is seeking a Client Services Executive to enhance our team by managing clients' insurance needs, including general inquiries, renewals, mid-term adjustments, and invoicing. You will engage with our SME clients, demonstrating a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the achievement of client retention goals by providing outstanding service.
  • Collaborate with the Account Executive to devise effective renewal strategies and attend client meetings as needed.
  • Conduct market research to identify the most competitive terms available.
  • Present renewal terms to clients and issue renewal documentation in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Ensure timely collection of premiums prior to the start of coverage, adhering to company procedures.
  • Handle all client inquiries professionally, processing them in line with service standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of all relevant information and correspondence using our management system.
  • Produce high-quality documentation using established templates.
  • Process adjustments in accordance with procedures, including notifying insurers and issuing revised documentation.
  • Promote cross-selling of products from other divisions.
  • Assist other branches and resources as required.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
  • Proficient understanding of key General Insurance classes and adherence to the CII's Code of Ethics and GDPR.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working with SME or commercial clients.
  • Strong technical insurance skills, assessed through regular in-house evaluations.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Ability to efficiently manage workload and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional client service and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capability to gather and analyze client information effectively.
  • Ability to tailor communication to suit individual client understanding.
  • Persuasive and influential in client interactions.
Qualifications:
  • GCSEs A-C in Maths & English.
  • Cert CII (desirable).
  • Experience with Acturis (desirable).
