Senior Care Support Specialist

Are you experienced in providing care within a residential setting for children?
TeacherActive is collaborating with a reputable organization specializing in children's residential care to recruit a permanent Senior Residential Support Specialist for a 3-bed EBD home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver consistent support to young individuals, significantly influencing their development and well-being.
- Engage with children and young adults, ensuring a nurturing environment.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 months of experience in the education or care sector (preferred).
- Possession of a Level 3 NVQ in children's residential care or an equivalent qualification (preferred).
- A valid UK driving license (mandatory).
The residential facility accommodates children up to the age of 18. Note: In accordance with the Department for Education National Minimum Standards, support workers must be at least 4 years older than the oldest resident.

- Senior Residential Support Worker
- Residential Team Leader
- Children's Home Supervisor
- Qualified Residential Support Worker
