The esteemed Company Secretariat team at easyJet plays a pivotal role in ensuring our success by delivering exceptional governance support to the PLC Board, its committees, and the Airline Management Board. We are committed to upholding high standards of corporate governance throughout the Group by proficiently managing Board support, overseeing listed company matters such as the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and share registration, ensuring robust governance of subsidiaries, and managing key aspects of the Group's share schemes.

Key Responsibilities

In this essential position within our compact team, you will engage in various aspects of company secretarial and corporate governance matters. Your duties will encompass drafting sections of and assisting with the verification of the Annual Report, preparing AGM documentation, and supporting the execution of the AGM. Additionally, you will ensure compliance for subsidiaries, which includes drafting agendas, papers, and minutes for operating subsidiaries, and coordinating with regulatory bodies and third-party providers regarding compliance requirements. You will oversee the electronic Board paper portal and manage the clearance to deal process, ensuring adherence to the Share Dealing Code. Other responsibilities include drafting and releasing stock exchange announcements, reviewing the dividend timetable, and managing Powers of Attorney. You will also interact with board members, process expense claims, assist with budget oversight, and contribute to corporate governance projects as required.

Qualifications and Skills

You will possess experience from working in a Company Secretarial team within a listed company, preferably within a FTSE 250 organization, along with a qualification from the Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland or be actively pursuing it. Your strong project management, planning, and organizational abilities will enable you to perform effectively under pressure, prioritize tasks efficiently, and meet deadlines. You will have excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the capability to engage with and influence senior managers and directors. Your comprehension of technical regulations, combined with your self-motivation, teamwork, and proactive mindset, will foster continuous improvement. Professionalism, integrity, and a flexible approach are essential, as is the ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.

Work Environment
