About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Facilities Assistant to join our team at HW Fisher LLP. As a key member of our Facilities Department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first-line building maintenance support, including carrying out ad-hoc maintenance and cleaning tasks as required.
  • Assist with the collection and distribution of post and courier items, as well as emptying confidential waste bins.
  • Monitor and re-stock cleaners' supplies, set up meeting rooms, and maintain a tidy office environment.
  • Conduct regular walkthroughs to ensure general office tidiness and remove waste items.
  • Monitor and perform checks as per an established checklist, reporting faults to the Facilities Manager.
  • Undertake new starter health and safety tours and assist with internal relocations and furniture removal.
  • Assist with departmental administration and remain available to carry out other ad-hoc tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Enthusiastic and reliable individual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work under own initiative with a flexible and proactive approach to work.
  • Confident and professional with strong communication skills.
  • IT literate, especially with Microsoft Word.
  • Ability to cope with occasional heavy lifting and manual dexterity.
  • Experience dealing with minor repairs is desirable.
