Temporary Assistant Facilities Manager Opportunity

Thorn Baker Facilities Maintenance is seeking a skilled Assistant Facilities Manager to cover a temporary position in Farringdon.

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in facilities management, particularly in commercial buildings. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of CAFM, BMS, and working in a facilities role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage post rooms, courier companies, door access systems, and ordering supplies.
  • Deal with contractors, report faults, and handle building landlord's security and loading bay.
  • Perform lifting of boxes, although the day cleaner will deal with most of this.

Working Conditions:

The working hours are Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, paying GBP 16 per hour. The location is a stone's throw away from Chancery Lane station.

Requirements:

  • Facilities management experience.
  • Hard services background.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Excellent computer/IT skills and proven knowledge of CAFM systems.
