We are pleased to announce an opportunity for a Band 7 Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist to join our dedicated team at George Eliot Hospital, contributing to the Outpatient Therapy department.

This role will involve a diverse range of patient cases, with referrals originating from various healthcare professionals.

We seek a qualified Band 6 or current Band 7 Physiotherapist with a strong interest in musculoskeletal outpatient care. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

As a Band 7 Senior Physiotherapist, you will:

  • Conduct advanced assessments and apply clinical reasoning for patients with varied and complex musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Develop and implement tailored management and treatment plans.
  • Make clinical diagnoses and manage a specialized caseload of complex patients while maintaining accurate records.
  • Occasionally assume leadership responsibilities in the absence of the team leader.
  • Provide clinical guidance and mentorship to junior staff and support personnel.
  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and evaluation of service delivery.
  • Act as a resource for specialist advice within the therapy service and across other disciplines.

Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A degree or diploma in Physiotherapy
  • A Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant specialty (or progress towards one)
  • HCPC registration
  • Post-registration training and experience in the specialty
