Senior Transformation Consultant

The Strategic Change Partner is a senior professional focused on driving successful transformation initiatives within the University. This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective execution of transformation programs across designated Colleges.
Working closely with senior management and engaging with staff at all levels, the Strategic Change Partner will facilitate the adoption of meaningful change within the institution.
This position employs a collaborative management style, supporting and influencing change efforts while partnering with academic and administrative leaders to foster a positive transition for both staff and students.
The role aims to enhance change capabilities throughout the College, ensuring that change management practices are integrated at all leadership levels while promoting a cohesive approach across various Schools.
A comprehensive understanding of the strategic environment, specific College needs, and the complexities of the University is essential for effective change implementation.
Main Duties & Responsibilities- Collaborate with College Change Teams to directly implement the transformation agenda.
- Establish and lead the College Business Change Steering Group, developing standardized processes for managing and prioritizing change initiatives.
- Work closely with the College Management Group to align transformative projects with broader strategic objectives, ensuring a unified approach to achieving desired outcomes.
- Provide leadership and development support to College Transformation Administrator resources to enhance capabilities for effective change program implementation.
- Support local change resources, aligning roles and responsibilities to manage a cohesive Change Plan for the College.
- Partner with College leaders and central service teams to cultivate a proactive talent development pipeline for ongoing projects, while offering coaching to all change resources.
- Act as the primary contact for addressing issues related to the change portfolio, ensuring proactive management of risks and challenges.
- Contribute to a community of Transformation Business Partners, sharing best practices and identifying opportunities for improvement across Schools and Colleges.
- Maintain oversight of the transformation implementation plan, validating resources and engaging in capability building to ensure readiness for change.
- Lead the College's readiness for transformational initiatives, overseeing planning, engagement, and communication efforts.
- Ensure the successful realization of transformational change, demonstrating that intended benefits have been achieved.
- Serve as the main liaison between the College and the Transformation team, ensuring effective communication and engagement strategies are in place.
- Utilize stakeholder management skills to navigate complex change environments, providing guidance and support for implementation.
- Promote a culture of change readiness and resilience, sharing insights to enhance change capabilities.
- Network effectively within the College and the broader University community to strengthen communication and collaboration.
Essential:
- A relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification, along with extensive experience in management roles.
- Deep understanding of change management principles and proven success in delivering transformative initiatives.
- Experience in large, complex environments, particularly within Higher Education.
Desirable:
- Relevant certifications in change management or project management methodologies.
- Experience in coaching or organizational development.

Experience:
