Radis Community Care is seeking a skilled HR Advisor to join our dedicated team in the South West. This position offers a hybrid work model, combining regular travel to various service locations with the flexibility of home-based work. You will have access to a desk and office facilities at one of our local service sites.

Role Overview

As an HR Advisor, you will collaborate closely with fellow HR Team members to address a variety of daily HR matters and participate in HR-related initiatives. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Serving as the primary contact via phone and email to deliver HR guidance to Managers and colleagues throughout the organization, referencing relevant policies, procedures, and employment legislation as necessary.
  • Effectively managing both formal and informal Employee Relations cases, offering advice, support, and coaching to Managers.
  • Preparing and issuing employment contracts while ensuring adherence to company protocols from pre-employment checks to onboarding and throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Assisting the team with TUPE transfers and ensuring all pertinent employee information is accurately recorded in Radis' systems.
  • Facilitating changes to terms and conditions; informing employees and relevant departments while ensuring records are updated accordingly.
  • Contributing to the rollout of the new HR and Payroll system.

Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for a self-driven, diligent, and proactive individual who demonstrates integrity in their work. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a busy HR environment in a similar capacity and hold at least a CIPD level 5 qualification or its equivalent. A solid understanding of HR processes and a current, practical knowledge of UK employment law are essential. Experience in providing HR support within the care sector is preferred but not mandatory.

A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for business purposes are required, along with a willingness to occasionally stay overnight.
