A prestigious national law firm, recognized for its extensive legal expertise, is on the lookout for a Public Relations Manager to enhance their Cardiff office. In this role, you will be instrumental in defining the firm's public persona and executing strategic PR initiatives aimed at bolstering the firm's standing in the industry. Your responsibilities will include drafting press releases, managing media interactions, and leveraging digital platforms to showcase the firm's offerings and events.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development of the firm's PR and Communications strategy by delivering press releases tailored for specific media channels and the firm's online presence.
- Proactively identify opportunities for media exposure, including arranging interviews, feature articles, and guest contributions.
- Maintain an extensive network of media contacts and ensure the press database is current.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure PR efforts align with overall marketing and communication objectives.
- Utilize media monitoring tools to assess the firm's online reputation and the effectiveness of PR initiatives.
- Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities to uncover and capitalize on PR opportunities.
- Assist the Head of PR and Communication with the creation of internal and external communication materials and event planning.
Candidate Profile:
- 2-3 years of experience in a PR Manager role or a comparable position.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, with a knack for producing compelling content for varied audiences.
- Proven capability to foster and sustain relationships across different business sectors.
- Comprehensive knowledge of both traditional and digital media platforms.
- A Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or a related discipline.
