Role Summary

The Shared Services Partnership is seeking a skilled Building Safety Manager to oversee the Property and Compliance Works team.

This position involves managing critical information and liaising with external consultants to deliver Building Safety expertise across a diverse portfolio of properties. The role is demanding and requires effective engagement with various stakeholders to ensure that safety information is maintained with the utmost integrity and professionalism, while addressing the needs of residents.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the built environment, with at least five years of relevant experience.

Qualifications Required:

The successful applicant should hold a recognized technical qualification, such as full membership to professional bodies like IFE, IFSM, CABE, RICS, or CIOB, along with a NEBOSH fire safety certificate (FC1/FC2) or an equivalent credential.

Experience in a similar role, particularly within housing or local authority settings, is highly desirable.
