About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join our successful Structures division at FM Conway. As a Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all health, safety, and environmental aspects of our major construction and bridge refurbishment projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and safety audits on site to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and develop strategies to minimize the company's environmental impact.
  • Participate in project meetings to provide input on health, safety, and environmental matters.
  • Support the development of project-specific health, safety, and environmental plans and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Compliance Manager or in a related field.
  • Excellent knowledge of structural engineering and bridges.
  • Previous experience in leading a team and developing strategies to achieve goals.
  • Hold a NEBOSH or a NVQ Level 5 qualification.
  • Ability to drive and possess a full UK driving licence.
