Compliance Manager Job Description

FM Conway Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager to join our Structures division. As a Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all health, safety, and environmental aspects of our major construction and bridge refurbishment projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and safety audits on site to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards, including ISO 14001.
  • Participate in project meetings to provide input on health, safety, and environmental matters.
  • Support the development of project-specific health, safety, and environmental plans and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and lead initiatives to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the business.

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Central London, working on Hammersmith and Fulham Bridge. As our Compliance Manager, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our Project Managers, Site Supervisors, and SHEQ department to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Requirements:
  • NEBOSH or NCQ Level 5 qualification in a relevant field.
  • Excellent knowledge of structural engineering and bridges.
  • Ability to drive and possess a full UK driving licence.
