Position Overview

Join Our Culinary Team

Busy Bees Nurseries is thrilled to announce an opening for a Kitchen Assistant on a part-time schedule, offering a perfect balance between work and personal life. This role does not require evening or weekend shifts. As a member of our culinary team, you will implement a seasonal, NHS-accredited meal plan designed to provide nutritious meals for our children throughout their day.

This role is available either Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Thursday, with a maximum of 16 hours per week. We can adjust hours to fit your availability, and there are opportunities for additional hours as needed.

Responsibilities of a Kitchen Assistant

  • Prepare and serve high-quality, nutritious meals and snacks, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Maintain safe working practices for both children and staff, following Busy Bees' food hygiene policies.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures regarding hazardous substances.
  • Most importantly, enjoy the experience and have fun while working

*Candidates must possess a Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate to be considered for this role.*
