Claims Team Leader Position

About the Role
Hastings Direct is seeking a skilled Claims Team Leader to join our team. As a Claims Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring that your team achieves all quality and customer outcomes. You will embed a coaching and performance management culture within your team, ensuring teams are engaged, motivated, and working in a fun and productive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that your team achieves all quality and customer outcomes
- Embed a coaching and performance management culture within your team
- Satisfy customers with each and every interaction
- Ensure that the operational goals of the department are met, including telephony adherence and Claims KPI's
- Conduct audit and quality checks of colleagues' work, and provide feedback where required
- Collaborate with other Claims Teams to identify process improvements to ensure that Hastings Direct is a market-leading insurer
Requirements
- Strong leadership and coaching skills, with experience of leading an operational team, ideally within Insurance or Sales
- Track record of building high levels of engagement with teams, ensuring the ability to deliver exceptional customer and colleague outcomes
- Able to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders, so strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must
