Location: Swindon (with occasional travel to various locations)

The position of Lead Social Media Strategist involves collaborating with both the High Street and Direct teams to develop captivating social media content aimed at achieving our commercial objectives and enhancing brand visibility. While primarily office-based, this role will also require travel to various locations for content creation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and executing a continuous content calendar and campaign strategies across our social media platforms.
  • Crafting imaginative and impactful content and campaigns that elevate brand recognition and market presence, effectively reaching target audiences.
  • Planning, developing, and implementing campaigns to boost audience engagement.
  • Collaborating closely with purchasing teams and supplier partners to facilitate paid initiatives that generate media revenue.
  • Analyzing performance metrics to derive insights for future campaigns, along with preparing reports on campaign effectiveness.
  • Managing the social media marketing calendar in conjunction with trade planning teams to enhance key business trading periods and events.
  • Overseeing influencer collaborations, including contract negotiations and alignment with broader marketing strategies.
  • Tracking competitor activities on social platforms and providing strategic recommendations for development.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a social media role, either in-house or agency-based.
  • Proven track record in developing content and campaigns that drive audience engagement.
  • Capability to produce diverse content types, collaborating with design teams or on-site.
  • Strong awareness of social media platforms and trends, with the agility to generate relevant ideas and content swiftly.
  • Experience in reporting on social media performance metrics.
