The position of Lead Social Media Strategist involves collaborating with both the High Street and Direct teams to produce captivating social media content aimed at achieving our commercial objectives and increasing brand visibility. While primarily office-based, this role will also require travel to different sites for content creation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and executing a comprehensive content calendar for ongoing and campaign-specific social media initiatives
  • Crafting imaginative and impactful content and campaigns that enhance brand recognition and market presence, effectively reaching target audiences
  • Planning, developing, and implementing campaigns to boost audience engagement
  • Collaborating closely with purchasing teams and supplier partners to execute paid media strategies that drive revenue
  • Analyzing performance metrics to derive insights for future campaigns, including preparing reports on campaign effectiveness
  • Managing the social media marketing calendar in partnership with trade planning teams to highlight key business events and trading periods
  • Overseeing influencer collaborations, including contract negotiations and alignment with broader marketing strategies
  • Tracking competitor activities on social platforms and providing strategic recommendations for development
Candidate Profile:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a social media role, either in-house or agency
  • Proven track record in creating engaging content and campaigns
  • Ability to produce diverse content types, collaborating with design teams or working on-site
  • Strong awareness of social media platforms and trends, with a knack for quickly generating relevant ideas and content
  • Experience in reporting on social media performance metrics
