The position of Lead Social Media Strategist involves collaborating with both the High Street and Direct teams to develop captivating social media content aimed at achieving our commercial objectives and enhancing brand visibility. While the role is primarily office-based, it will also require travel to various sites for content creation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and executing a continuous calendar of content for both ongoing and campaign-specific initiatives across our social media platforms.
  • Generating imaginative and groundbreaking content and campaigns that enhance brand recognition, market presence, and effectively engage target audiences.
  • Strategizing, constructing, and implementing campaigns to boost user engagement.
  • Collaborating closely with purchasing teams and supplier partners to execute paid initiatives that drive media revenue.
  • Analyzing performance metrics to derive insights that inform future campaigns, including preparing reports on campaign effectiveness.
  • Overseeing the social media marketing calendar, working in tandem with trade planning teams to amplify significant business trading periods and events.
  • Managing influencer collaborations, including contract negotiations and alignment with broader marketing strategies.
  • Keeping a close watch on competitor activities across social platforms and compiling recommendations to guide strategic planning.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a social media role, either in-house or at an agency.
  • Proven track record in developing content and campaigns that drive user engagement.
  • Capability to produce diverse content types, collaborating with design teams or working on-site.
  • Strong awareness of social media platforms and trends, with the agility to generate relevant ideas and content swiftly.
  • Experience in reporting on social media performance metrics.
