Position Overview

Gray Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist an individual in their 30s who is living with an acquired brain injury and mental health challenges. This role involves working independently and requires a strong background in mental health support, as well as the ability to engage the individual in various daily activities.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of providing care to individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviors. Familiarity with care plans and risk assessments is essential to ensure the highest quality of support.

Work Schedule: 24 hours per week, consisting of two 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in social care, particularly with acquired brain injury and mental health.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK, along with a minimum of six months in a healthcare setting.

Hiring Process:

  • Initial telephone interview with a recruiter.
  • Follow-up interview with the Community Support Manager.
  • Completion of compliance and background checks.
