We are seeking a part-time Male Support Worker to join our team at Gray Healthcare. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting an individual with complex needs, including acquired brain injury and mental health conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Support the individual to develop or regain life skills, assisting participation in community life by building strong and trusting working relationships.
- Work collaboratively with the support team to ensure the individual's safety and well-being while out in the community.
- Assist the individual in attending various activities, such as boxing sessions, playing group football, watching football on TV, trips to the cinema, snooker clubs, or visiting a local pub.
- NVQ/QCF Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant field, or willingness to work towards.
- Experience in supporting individuals with acquired brain injuries, mental health issues, and lone working.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to use digital records and care plans, and electronic rostering systems.
- Work-life balance and flexible working arrangements.
