About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Male Support Worker to join our team in Norwich. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will provide 1:1 support to an individual with Acquired Brain Injury and Mental Health needs, living independently in their own home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide social care experience, ideally within mental health, and support individuals with complex health needs and Learning Disabilities.
  • Implement detailed care plans and risk assessments, and provide encouragement to individuals with challenging behaviors.
  • Support individuals with Schizophrenia and other mental health conditions, and work collaboratively with our multi-disciplinary team.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of person-centred care plans, and participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Requirements

  • Current Right to Work in the UK and at least 6 months of employment in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
  • Experience working with individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviors.
