Residential Care Supervisor

Care UK is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and supervising your shift, ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise your shift, ensuring that all care staff are working effectively and efficiently.
- Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our residents, in collaboration with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.
- Administer and record medication, ensuring that all procedures are followed accurately and safely.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate any risks identified.
- Work closely with care assistants to support residents with daily needs, promoting independence and dignity.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and improve our services, ensuring that we are providing the best possible care for our residents.
- Provide a positive and professional approach at all times, promoting a culture of respect and empathy.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in health and social care or equivalent experience.
- Proven ability to lead and supervise others, with a strong focus on teamwork and communication.
- Excellent organizational and IT skills, with the ability to allocate and delegate work effectively.
- A good understanding of care planning processes and the ability to develop and implement care plans that meet individual needs.
- Experience in administering medication or a willingness to undertake training.
- A natural ability to help make the lives of others more fulfilling, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care.
