Position Overview

Orthopaedic Lead Nurse/Operating Department Practitioner (ODP)

We are excited to announce opportunities for an Orthopaedic Lead Nurse/ODP as we enhance our surgical department. Our facility has undergone significant expansion, and we are looking for skilled professionals to contribute to our growth journey.

As part of Ramsay Health Care UK, a prominent provider of both NHS and private healthcare services in England, our hospital features 58 beds, including 18 ambulatory bays, 4 laminar flow theatres, and an endoscopy theatre.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for performing the scrub duties during consultant-led surgeries, which will encompass a range of complexities and specializations, particularly in Orthopaedic Surgery.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Valid NMC/HCPC registration
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team as well as independently
  • A compassionate, considerate, and empathetic demeanor
  • Surgical First Assistant Qualification (SFA) – Preferred but not mandatory
  • Experience at a lead or senior level
