Role Responsibilities:

  • Execute the scrub role during consultant-led surgical procedures
  • Engage in a diverse range of surgeries with varying complexities and specialties
  • Lead the team while providing training and mentorship
  • Specialize in Orthopaedic Surgery

Candidate Requirements:

  • NMC / HCPC registration - your pin must be unrestricted
  • Eligibility to reside and work in the UK
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Orthopaedic Scrub within the UK
  • Prior experience in a leadership or managerial capacity in a similar environment
  • Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) is desirable
  • A willingness to learn and develop in the role

Person Specification: All applicants for the position of Lead Orthopaedic Theatre Nurse / ODP must possess a valid NMC / HCPC Registration without restrictions and full eligibility to live and work in the UK. A minimum of 2 years of managerial experience in orthopaedic scrub is essential for this role.
