Orthopaedic Lead Theatre Nurse / ODP Opportunity

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopaedic Lead Theatre Nurse / ODP to join our team at Appoint Healthcare. As a key member of our theatre team, you will be responsible for leading and motivating the team, providing training and support, and working closely with consultants to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scrub role in consultant-led surgeries
  • Work across a variety of surgeries, ranging in complexity and specialism
  • Lead the team and provide training and support
  • Focus on Orthopaedic Surgery

Requirements:

  • NMC / HCPC registration with no restrictions or conditions
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • At least 2 years' experience in Orthopaedic Scrub in the UK
  • Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role in a similar setting
  • Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) desirable
  • Willingness to learn and grow in the role
