About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Orthopaedic Lead Theatre Nurse to join our team at our private hospital in Colchester. As a key member of our theatre team, you will be responsible for leading and motivating the team, providing training and support, and working as a scrub nurse in consultant-led surgeries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform scrub role in consultant-led surgeries
  • Work across a variety of surgeries, ranging in complexity and specialism
  • Lead the team and provide training and support
  • Focus on Orthopaedic Surgery
Requirements
  • NMC/HCPC registration with no restrictions
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • At least 2 years' experience in Orthopaedic Scrub in the UK
  • Previous experience in a leadership/managerial role in a similar setting
  • Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) desirable
