Role Responsibilities:
As an Orthopaedic Lead Theatre Nurse / ODP, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing the scrub role during consultant-led surgical procedures
  • Engaging in a diverse range of surgeries with varying complexities and specialties
  • Leading the team while providing training and mentorship
  • Focusing on Orthopaedic Surgery

Candidate Requirements:

  • NMC / HCPC registration with no restrictions or conditions
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in Orthopaedic Scrub within the UK
  • Prior experience in a leadership or managerial capacity in a similar environment
  • Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) is desirable
  • A willingness to learn and advance in the role

Person Specification: All applicants for the Orthopaedic Lead Theatre Nurse / ODP position must possess valid NMC / HCPC Registration without restrictions and full eligibility to live and work in the UK. A minimum of 2 years of managerial experience in orthopaedic scrub is essential for this role.
