Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Theatre Scrub Nurse/Orthopaedic Surgical Assistant to join our team at Health Professionals Nursing Agency. As a Theatre Scrub Nurse, you will play a vital role in the operating theatre team, providing expert surgical assistance and support during a wide range of Orthopaedic procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pre-Operative Preparation: Prepare the operating theatre, equipment, and instruments according to the surgical procedure.
  • Surgical Assistance: Assist the surgical team during Orthopaedic procedures, providing skilled support and maintaining a sterile environment.
  • Infection Control: Adhere to infection control policies and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Documentation: Accurately document patient information and maintain records in accordance with regulatory standards.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner with a valid professional license.
  • Experience: Experience working as a Theatre Scrub Nurse/Orthopaedic Surgical Assistant, preferably with a focus on Orthopaedics.
  • Skills: Sound knowledge of surgical procedures and the ability to anticipate the needs of the surgical team.
