About the Role:
MLK Education Search is in search of a dedicated Specialist Admissions Coordinator to join a highly regarded specialist institution recognized for its exceptional educational standards. This role is pivotal in providing transformative educational experiences for students.

Key Responsibilities:
1. **Assessment Oversight:** You will manage the assessment procedures, ensuring a uniform and effective methodology across all services, while assisting in the identification of suitable programs for students, which will inform pricing and placement decisions.
2. **Funding Implementation:** Lead the execution of our funding banding framework, encompassing all costs associated with student support and necessary equipment.
3. **Post-College Outcomes:** Ensure that all students achieve positive post-college outcomes, including follow-up measures to monitor their progress.

Assessment Process:
This includes reviewing essential documents such as school reports, risk assessments, and Education Health and Care Plans, as well as conducting in-person consultations with applicants and their families or guardians.

Individualized Support Plans:
Create tailored educational support plans that encompass various disciplines, including:
- Speech and Language Therapy (SaLT)
- Physiotherapy
- Creative Arts
- Occupational Therapy
- Hydrotherapy
- Nursing
- Personal Behavior Support (PBS)

Collaboration and Compliance:
Work closely with students, parents, and other professionals to ensure that the needs of students with Education, Health, and Care (EHC) Plans are met in accordance with statutory obligations.

Partnership Development:
Establish strong relationships with parents and caregivers to improve communication and collaboration in supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Caseload Management:
Manage a portfolio of consultations, prioritizing responses based on institutional priorities and compliance with statutory requirements.

Effective Planning:
Design and implement effective assessments, teaching, and learning strategies within the designated curriculum areas during specialized assessment sessions, ensuring that student assessment experiences are structured to facilitate effective learning.
