We are looking for an skilled and enthusiastic dietitian to join our Care Home Support Team to work with adults with learning disabilities and dysphagia.

The post holder will work as an integral part of a small multi-disciplinary team working in dysphagia and be a key link between mainstream community services, Borough based learning disabilities services and colleagues in local hospitals.

The dietitian will be responsible for the provision of health facilitation, specialist support and advice to adults with and without learning difficulties, who are over the age of 18 years and who are registered with a GP in the London Borough of Sutton.

The postholder will provide holistic and person-centred care to all patients who access the services. they will see learning disability patients with dysphagia, nutritional deficiencies, patients on enteral feeding and gastrointestinal disorders. The post holder will assess, treat and review patients requiring oral nutritional and home enteral feeding (HEF) support in their own home, in care/residential or supported living homes or in a clinical setting. The provision of training to clients, parents/carers and support staff is an integral part of the role.
