Dietitian Lead for Young Adults

NHS Job Opportunity:
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced and passionate Dietitian Lead to join our team at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with young adults with diabetes, aged 18-25, and contribute to the development of our innovative dietetic services. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our patients.
About the Role:
- Develop and lead our young adult diabetes service, working closely with our specialist nurse, psychologist, and consultant teams.
- Provide expert dietetic input in MDT clinics, transitional clinics, and additional young adult dietetic clinics.
- Create and facilitate tailored structured education courses for young adults, focusing on carbohydrate counting and nutritional education.
- Manage and supervise other dietetic staff and students as needed.
About You:
- Qualified Dietitian (4-year degree or equivalent).
- Leadership/management training and experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to travel to required areas within and beyond the Trust.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this role is £46,148-£52,809 per annum pro rata, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes a supportive work environment, opportunities for professional development, and a competitive salary.
