Job Description:

At Vertical Advantage, we're seeking an experienced marketing leader to drive the international expansion of our premium global food brand. As the International Head of Brand, you'll play a crucial role in developing the brand's presence in new markets and shaping the roadmap for global growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for international market expansion, including market research, competitor analysis, and market entry planning.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, Category, Finance, and local teams within our parent company.
  • Collaborate with the global NPD pipeline and portfolio strategy team to adapt the brand's product offerings for local market success.
  • Develop and implement marketing support plans for launch and beyond, leveraging best practices from other markets while tailoring them for success in new regions.
  • Ensure the brand proposition is viable at premium price points in new markets through consumer, category, and financial validation.
  • Build business cases to support recommended new market launches and develop commercial and financial plans to drive growth.
  • Manage and execute trade marketing, activations, and commercial initiatives to drive brand awareness and sales.
  • Provide managerial experience for an FMCG business, with a proven track record in developing businesses and brands in international markets.
  • Develop and maintain exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills to build strong collaborative relationships within the organization and across local markets.
  • Manage stakeholders effectively and drive results-oriented decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in the development of businesses and brands in international markets, with a strong understanding of global-local ways of working.
  • Commercial and financial acumen, with an understanding of P&L and margin management.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to develop strong collaborative relationships within the organization and across local markets.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to drive results-oriented decision-making.
