About the Role:
Vertical Advantage is seeking an experienced International Brand Director to lead the development of our brand in international markets. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and shaping the roadmap for international expansion.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy to drive growth in the US market and other key regions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Global Insights, Category, and Sales, to develop a robust roadmap for international expansion.
- Build business cases to support new market launches and ensure the brand proposition can thrive at premium price points.
- Develop and implement effective marketing support plans for launch and beyond, leveraging best practices from other markets.
- Adapt the global NPD pipeline and portfolio strategy to drive local market success.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across the organization, including Marketing, Sales, Category, Finance, NPD, and local teams.
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of 1-2.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in brand marketing, trade marketing, activations, commercial, and digital.
- Managerial experience in an FMCG business.
- Experience working with distributors and global-local ways of working.
- Commercial and financial acumen with an understanding of P&L and margin management.
- Exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Capacity to embrace and create change.
