We are seeking an experienced associate with 4+ years of Private Equity experience to join our team at Montgomery Advisory in London.

**The Team**

Our Private Equity Team is a market leader in the industry, providing top-tier clients with expert services covering mergers and acquisitions, takeovers, equity capital markets, private equity, securities, restructuring, and corporate governance.

**The Role**

This position will involve working closely with highly respected partners with extensive experience and a broad range of knowledge. You will be exposed to international and pan-European transactions, working with various clients to create a well-rounded private equity professional.

You will be responsible for working on multiple private equity transactions, including drafting and negotiating preliminary documentation such as Exclusivity Agreements, Heads of Terms, and Management Equity Term Sheets, as well as SPAs, Disclosure Letters, Investment Agreements, and Articles of Association, legal due diligence, and ancillary documentation.

**Key Requirements**

The successful candidate will be at an associate level with 4+ years of experience. Strong interpersonal skills are also desirable traits. In addition, they will have:

  • strong technical knowledge with regard to private equity;
  • strong transactional experience;
  • excellent drafting and technical skills;
  • the ability to work effectively under pressure and to stay calm;
  • outstanding academic credentials;
  • excellent client relationship skills.

**Qualifications**

Candidates must be a qualified solicitor.
